Hi! I’m Bek, a half-Filipina video editor and motion graphics animator currently based in Burbank, California.

I’ve been in the industry since I moved to California from Virginia in 2011, starting off as a property assistant on a Bobcat Goldthwait film called “God Bless America” and then working as a PA on the last season of Felicia Day’s “The Guild”. From there I started to find my footing as a video editor and animator in YouTube. Then, after winding my way through freelancing for ad agencies, finally landed where I am now as a doc-style and ad editor at Lemonlight.

My big dream is to work in gaming content. Whether that be videogames or tabletop games. I grew up playing games on the original NES and having to boot up games through DOS on Windows 95, so gaming has always been a big part of my life.

Additionally, I also really love doc-style content. Anything where I can learn about a subject while editing is always exciting. I love crafting a story that feels like an emotional rollercoaster.

In my spare time I enjoy playing tabletop games with friends (Dungeons and Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, Gloomhaven), rock climbing, and slaying monsters on Monster Hunter. I regularly attend anime conventions and cosplay, enjoy going to a good Renaissance Faire for a turkey leg, and also attend a fantasy book convention every year for one of my favorite authors, Brandon Sanderson. If it’s a nerdy hobby, I most likely have a lot of insight on the subject.
